Be careful about anyone who claims to channel guides or intelligences from this world or beyond.
I say that as a disciple and very close friend of a man who, I believe, was the greatest medium for extraterrestrial and other intelligences the world has ever known, Dr. George King. He was rightly designated as Primary Terrestrial Mental Channel. I also say it after practising channelling myself for over 40 years of dozens of guides from other realms on this Earth. Some of these, who gained a greater or lesser degree of renown in their lifetimes, include St. Rock, Sir Winston Churchill, Pope John XXIII, Dante Alighieri, Sir Francis Bacon, Count Francois Jollivet-Castelot, Count Cagliostro, Magdalena de la Cruz, John de Balliol, John of Patmos, Erasmus and Madame Blavatsky. To be clear, it is likely that some of these will have reincarnated since their life under those names, but for the purposes of communication have reverted to their former identities in order to make particular points. I should stress that there are dozens of others – some well known and others not – who have also communicated through me over the years. To the question of why have they chosen to use me as a medium, there is a very simple answer. It is mainly because of the work I have been engaged in, which is of interest to them; my position in The Aetherius Society, which some of them support wholeheartedly; and especially my close connection with Dr. George King, whom a number of them greatly admire. There is, too, another decision a good guide makes when choosing their medium on this basic, physical level. Can a sufficient rapport be gained between guide and medium to ensure that such a communication is accurate? For that, we have to look at the credentials, the training, the capability and methodology a particular medium uses. I must say that I feel sorry for people trying to discern how genuine a channelled communication is, because there are so many claims out there and, to put it bluntly, many – if not most – are false. I also feel sorry for some would-be mediums who have been encouraged to jump in the deep end without first being taught to swim, leaving them to sink into mental ill health. Like any other skill, intensive practice with strict discipline is required – we need to put the science back into the séance. I would not recommend anyone, unless they are an adept at yoga and the mystical sciences over many years, to attempt trance mediumship. It is not the method I use, or indeed that used by Madame Blavatski, Alice Bailey and others who received great wisdom. Which brings me again to Dr. King, who really is in a category of his own. He did use trance mediumship to be a channel for the Masters, but only after he received specific training that enabled him to enter the state of Samadhi. This is a very rarely attained and most elevated meditative condition in which a yoga adept is in trance and becomes one with that upon which he meditates, thereby knowing it completely. To the best of my knowledge, Samadhi has never before been used for the purposes of trance mediumship, in which an elevated communicator uses the medium’s voice to deliver their message orally; or if it has, it was not disclosed to the public. Dr. King, after ten years practice of the most advanced forms of yoga for eight hours a day, was able to raise Kundalini entirely and lodge it in the highest chakras, and thereby receive a beam of thought transmitted to him and directed to one of these chakras. I do not know of another medium who has claimed to be able to do this. I also doubt that a communicator from a higher realm of this Earth would be able to project such a beam with the same concentrative force as an Ascended or Cosmic Master. This is truly unique, unprecedented, and singular in its efficacy. Those who practise trance mediumship without entering Samadhi – and very few on Earth have attained that state – would have to negate their mental faculties in order to allow a communicating entity to overshadow them. This is dangerous, because they would not be able to control the outcome and because it allows their own conscious and subconscious mind to influence the message, thereby leading to partial or total inaccuracy. I should add that there is also the danger of possession taking place, in the event of the interfering entity taking advantage of the mental vacuum created by this type of negative trance and spouting falsehoods or, even worse, using the medium’s body as a vehicle for destructive behaviour. The other method of communication, which does not require trance mediumship, was described by Dr. King as a mental transmission. Being the Master he was, he could raise his consciousness to the required level to receive a telepathic thought, which his brain then translated into English as he recorded it, either in writing or with his own spoken voice on a handheld tape recorder. I have had the privilege to be with him while he did this on more than one occasion and he could function physically – walking around a room or sitting – while either handwriting or operating a cassette recorder. This is the type of method – albeit in a much more lowly form - that I have used for over 40 years. I believe that Madame Blavatsky, Alice Bailey and other great luminaries before them, such as John of Patmos who received the Book of Revelation, did too. In my case, I combine telepathic reception with, often but not always, clairaudience (psychic hearing). Because it is written down, the tonality and expression of the voice are not conveyed, but if you are able to hear it yourself while receiving the communication, it tells you much about the communicator and, very importantly, is a surefire way to distinguish between a message coming from outside of you and your own thoughts. It is absolutely vital to have very intense concentration, and psychics who do not have this capability cannot be completely accurate. You are not in a full state of Samadhi – if you were, you would be immobile – so therefore you have to achieve this level of concentration through exceptional mental effort, which requires many years of training in yoga or mystic disciplines. Without this, any message received will be, to some extent, unreliable. It is imperative that the medium does not allow their conscious mind to colour the communication, or indeed their sub-conscious mind to influence it. Therefore, they must not think about the meaning of the words they are receiving while they are receiving them. One thing I have found helpful in this respect is to sometimes receive the spelling of the words, letter by letter, so that you are only concentrating on this and not on their meaning. If a person receives a message without using such a disciplined technique, it will be a mix of their own thoughts and that of the communicator. That is fine, providing they are clear about this when they reveal it. Some who do this will describe their writings as inspired rather than channelled, which is much more honest. Indeed, there are authors through history who, I believe, have received guidance from other realms with their work, even though they are not consciously aware of it. Tolkien might be just one example of this. Usually, mediums will have a limited number of guides – generally less than ten – and sometimes only one. There is nothing wrong with this whatsoever, and it does not necessarily reflect on their body of work. Psychics who work at a basic level for a number of years will probably receive contacts from dozens, if not hundreds in certain cases, of departed loved ones of those to whom they give readings to. This type of guide is still connected to someone on Earth. Sometimes this can help, for example with bereavement; sometimes it can hinder, by maintaining an attachment that holds back both the person receiving the reading and the guide, who should be moving on. In my case though, the guides who have channelled through me have not done so, for the most part, to give personal messages, but because of my spiritual work. In 1980, Dr. King encouraged me to give psychic readings, which I did for a few years for hundreds of people around the world. These included personal matters such as bereavement, but – with Dr. King’s agreement – I moved on from this to a more spiritual purpose. To give specific examples of this, St. Rock, the 14th century healer of the plague, was interested in a healing campaign being run by The Aetherius Society in Britain in the early 1980s. Sir Winston Churchill and Pope John XXIII had both had connections with UFOs in their lifetimes and were interested in the many broadcasts and other presentations I was engaged in, also in the 1980s. Dante Aligieri and Sir Francis Bacon (who authored much of Shakespeare’s works) contacted me because of a series of literary messages I was channelling, a number of which have been published, including in the book I wrote with Mark Bennett, Gods, Guides and Guardian Angels. Count Francois Jollivet-Castelot and Count Cagliostro, I believe to be, like Dante and Bacon, followers of Count St Germain. They support the revelation of mystical truth in general, including through The Aetherius Society. Magdalena de la Cruz and John de Bailliol are two of several active supporters, I believe, of Dr. King and The Aetherius Society. They communicated with me because of my position in this organisation, combined with my ability to receive their messages. John of Patmos is the St. John who dictated the Book of Revelation, but he is not the same St. John as the disciple of Jesus, contrary to certain orthodox opinions. As such, he has an understandable interest in Armageddon, which is fully reported on through The Aetherius Society. He has become very dedicated to the Society, I believe, on a very high realm. Erasmus helped me in recent years to attain samadhic levels of consciousness, as someone who, I believe, did so himself in his lifetime. The fact that he attained this in a western environment, albeit hundreds of years ago, made his help particularly applicable to me. I have been aware of Madame Blavatsky since I became European Secretary of The Aetherius Society in 1979 – my first vision of her being reported in The Aetherius Society Journal, Cosmic Voice, under the editorship of Dr. King. I believe she is now a keen proponent of Aetherius Society teachings, especially The Nine Freedoms. One thing I have discovered is that, as I have evolved through intensive yoga practice - much of it through my closeness to Dr. King - so too has my capacity to channel more advanced guides. When I gave psychic readings, I was getting messages from very ordinary people who had passed on and wished to help a loved one. Now I am able to receive messages from those who inhabit the highest realms on Earth. There are many mediums who are not interested in evolving themselves spiritually. Once they reach a certain level and have the ability to pick up deceased relatives of people who come to them, they stay at that level, possibly for the rest of their life. It is a strange thing that some more basic mediums could be far more accurate than those with a more elevated purpose who have not developed their skills sufficiently to be really accurate. As an aside, I have noticed that as you progress towards a more advanced guide on a higher realm, it can be more difficult to concentrate, because the energy is so beautiful that a part of you wants to “bliss out” and enjoy the experience rather than focussing on the message in a more detached manner. I must also make it very clear that mediumship is not essential to most people’s spiritual development. Although psychic powers will manifest in one way or another as you progress, it is certainly not necessary to take up channelling as, for example, I have done. I have often been asked, especially since Dr. King’s demise, whether I am channelling ascended and interplanetary masters. My answer is that, even if I did, I would not claim in public to do so. The Aetherius Society has a very strict policy not to recognise the claims of mediums other than Dr. King, who say they channel cosmic intelligences, in order to avoid confusion. If I made such a claim in the position I hold, it could be destabilising for the Society – hence I would not do so. To be clear Dr. King never stated that he is the only person ever to have channelled cosmic intelligences, or that it would never happen in the future through someone in the Society; only that, even if it did, such a claim would not be officially recognised by us. I have become aware that my mediumship, even though I was not conscious of it until recently, was mainly conducted through my solar plexus centre. I think that is very common among mediums even though they probably won’t know it. I have now been guided to elevate this to a higher chakra, especially since I have experienced samadhic conditions in recent years. This, I have been told, is a necessary karmic condition for receiving a certain calibre of communicator. Whether I achieve this or not remains to be seen, but either way, I am very grateful to all those wonderful guides who have honoured me with their messages to date. You will find some of them here on my website at the Channelling tab. Comments are closed.
